Hi,
First I bought the Harmony 880 and I had to steal the HDMI from my DVD to hook up my AppleTV. I did this because my BOSE system only has HDMI inputs for CBL/SAT and DVD.
So, I bought a 5 port Monoprice HDX-501. It has 5 inputs and 1 output.
I am sure it will work with my Harmony but I have a question in setting the switch up.
I have:
Sat. Apple TV DVD Player BOSE Receiver
On my BOSE as I said I have CBL/SAT and DVD HDMI inputs.
So I run the HDMI cable from the AppleTV, DVD, and Sat into the "in" ports on the switch, correct.
Then I take a HDMI and run it from the "out" of the switch into the BOSE. I'm picking the CBL/SAT input. Then there is a HDMI that runs from the BOSE to the TV itself.
Then I program my harmony 880 to switch to whatever input that I want to watch, is that right so far?
The only confusing part is where to run the out on the switch. I think the above is correct but I'm hoping someone that went through this can tell me if I am right or wrong in the above hookup.
Thanks in advance....

Run all your components into the hdmi switch and then run one hdmi cable from the switch to the Bose system. Put in the appropriate device and input settings for the switch then set the Bose to always be on either cab/sat or dvd, whichever one you connected from the switch. Just follow the cables and make sure each device in the chain is set to the correct input.
Or you can leave cab/sat hooked up directly and put the switch on the dvd input and just connect the dvd and apple tv to the switch. This will bypass the switch for normal tv watching which may or may not be easier but it is an option.
