I am happy that I found this forum, seems like a lot of good info here.
I have had a Harmony 890 for about a year now, and some things really bother me.

The main thing is how do I control which buttons (the softkeys next to the screen) are available to me in an activity?

I specifically have the problem with my Slingcatcher. I set it up as a PVR device and I set a lot of the controls by "learning" them.

However, in the activity that I set up for this, it doesn't show several buttons that I created.

I have to switch to device to get what I want, and then back to activity to control the volume on my Denon receiver.

How can I control what buttons are available in an activity?

I even looked thru some of the cfg files, thinking that maybe it was there, but no luck.

Select your Activity, select Customize Buttons, and then you can change and hard button or any LCD button to the device and command of your choice
