Hi,

Love my 720. Just bought a laptop but it doesn't have an IR port. I see that there are a few remotes for pc that include a USB IR Receiver. Can I buy a USB IR Reciever and use my Harmony to control Windows media center, etc. What device should I add?

I tried to add my Compaq laptop, but since it doesn't have an IR port, the logitech software said the remote wouldn't work.

Thanks in advance.

You don't necessarily need to add your Compaq laptop to your Harmony account; just add the generic Windows Media Centre device or other if you want.

Check out these IR receivers/remotes
