I went to my local Best Buy to buy a Blu-Ray player today
(got a Panasonic BD 55) which is in such high demand that
I can't get it until February 13th. But I mentioned the
fact that I have a Harmony 1000 and I'm looking forward
to the hopefully "glitch-free" 1100. I told him that
the CES show thought it was quite good and that I expected
to buy it in February when promised. He showed me a brand
new 1100 that was delivered to the store for their display
(brand new in box) and said that if I wanted to buy it,
he would sell it to me. I paid $480.00 for it (he took
$20 off) and I now have it in my possession. I will set
it up this weekend and disconnect my 1000 and sell IT
on Ebay.
I look forward to the setup and hope that it is what they
say it is. I use VISTA on my computer and the 1100 says
that is is compatible with VISTA and supposedly it doesn't
freeze up and works well.
We'll see....It looks beautiful in black and I look forward
to trying it.
AM I the 1st to get one?
