I just programmed my new Harmony 890. Everything seems to work except the HArmony does not work on the DirecTV HR21 PRO (HR21-200). Harmony did not seem to have a problem recognizing the device. I know it wors because the flasher powers on and off another non pro model in the same cabinet just fine. I have not had a chance to try the direct in on the back of the HR21PRO just yet (no cable at the moment).
Is there something I am missing? My other DirecTV remotes activate this unit without a problem. Any chance Harmony has the wrong codes? I would strongly prefer to not manually enter as I would like to retain the discrete codes.
Question #2 - Does anyone know a link where I can download the channel icons to use with the 890. Thanks in advance.

Try "confirming IR language" under the device menu. This will make sure it chooses the appropriate codeset.

make sure the "remote id" or "remote address" of the directv box is set to ONE, this is what harmony uses by default just because i'm feeling nice, i'll post links for icons... in the future, try using the SEARCH feature to look in the forums for previous similar posts before asking these kind of common questions. www.iconharmony.comwww.lyngsat-logo.com
