I am trying to add icons to my favorites that i downloaded to my hard drive. I am using software v. 7.5.0 which I believe is the latest version .

I did Activities->Watch TV->Settings->Set up favorite Channels. The top of the page says "Create a name for your favorite channel" Below that I see the following boxes "Button" "Channel" "Label" "Preview".

I do not see any option to add icons or browse or "always display the channel on the remote" Please help!

does the "browse" button appear after you type in a channel number and label? if not then try the website members.harmonyremote.com as an alternative interface.

To answer my own question I called tech support. They told me that until I update my new remote (ie One) on the website, the browse etc buttons wont appear. This is because while the One has the add icons option, my current remote which is a 676 doesn"t. The website "know" which remote I am using. Therefore this is not one of the steps I can take before I actually receive my new remote next week.

that would make sense, you can only add icons for remotes that support it like the 800 series, the 1000 and the One

I updated my new H One. I downloaded the zip icons for favorite channels from Square Eyes and other sources. When I hit the "browse" button on the favorite channels page I can only select icons when I drag them onto my desktop. I cannot "grab" icons from any file (zipped or otherwise ) only directly from the desktop. So when I hit browse and go to the file and hit "open" the computer says "connection interrupted"and the selection process is aborted. Obviously I can keep dragging these jpeg icons from their dowloaded files to the desktop, but it seems a bit cumbersome. Any suggestions?

Did you unzip the Icons to a empty folder on your hard drive? I did and I just browse to that folder and click on icon I need, click on Preview, then click on Select Image, and I'm done. If you are unable to do it this way then contact support.
