Hi,
Does charging Harmony One, by putting it on the charging cradle, every night will decrease it battery life ?

Li ion batteries do not experience a memory effect; it's just like the battery of a modern cell phone... plug it in whenever. That's generally true (so you can charge your remote whenever), but it's not all that simple as there is some science behind Li ion battery chemistry. You should run the battery down every so often instead of keeping it topped up all the time, otherwise you'll lose that battery capacity and over time it will hold a full charge for less time.
It's been scientifically researched that Li ion batteries don't like to be run down to zero all the time... the optimal charge for Li ion battery to retain it's capacity for the longest period of time is 40% so you might want to consider charging when it's at one third of full ... but then again, you might not notice much of a difference with such an instrument. The battery will likely last you at about three years with reasonable use.
If you ever have battery or charging problems with your remote, contact Harmony support.
