Is it possible to adjust the angle of the tilts sensor on the 895.
If i hold it horizontal and tilt the remote so it is vertical doesn't trigger , i have to tilt it so its slightly upside down for it to trigger.
Any body that have tried to adjust the sensor so it triggers sooner?

Would like it to trigger at approx 45 degrees.

The tilt sensor was designed so that when you tilt the LCD screen towards you it will activate. My 890 activates exactly as it was designed. It turns on at an angle less than 45 degrees from horizontal. If you have to tilt the LCD screen away from your eyes then you are correct in assuming that there is a problem.
Check this post for a description on how it works.

Try a firmware upgrade on the remote before you take the thing apart.

Hi , tried a safe update of the FW bot no luck its still the same.
If i hold the remote upside down horizontally with the LCD facing down it works as i think it's supposed to work.It then lights up at an angle little less than 45 degrees when i rise the nose.
Its like the the sensor is mounted upside down inside the remote.

If mine doesn't come on I just shake it a little. The old ones were just motion sensitive - didn't seem to matter which direction. Not sure about the new ones.

How old is this remote? I would consider a replacement if under warranty. Email technical support.

yes, usually that is the case, but they don't require anything shipped until you get your replacement. a lot of times they ask for the battery and battery cover, and let you dispose of the remote (or do whatever else you want with it).

Update:

Got my replacement today. This one is working properly , from a horizontal position and then tilted a to a angle of 45 degrees it lights up every time.
It sounds different to when shaken , more of a rattling sound.
