Setting up my new 895 to control my Tvix 6500 media player.
The thing is it all works fine until i get to far from the extender then it starts to repeat the commands.
And its not very far , just across the room. I have to stand next to it for it to work as should.
And the problem is just with the tvix and not with any of the other stuff.
Have turned everything else of , cordlessphone and wifi.
Have also set the repeat to 0 but nothing helps.
When i get to far from the extender i starts to send double and tripple signals.
And it is not very far , 3-4 meters (12 ft),

What can i do?

this is some strange problem with the 890 series (can't ever recall it happening with a 1000). could be bad firmware, could be some problem with the combination of devices on your account, could be a glitch with your harmony account, could be the configuration of just one device causing the problem, could be the neighbour's cordless phone or whatnot interfering (if you've already turned off all your rf equipment) ... it is a very odd problem indeed, but you're not the first one to come across it. try repositioning the extender, if it's next to your equipment then move it a bit away.

i'd recommend contacting harmony support ASAP before your 60 days of phone support runs out ... it would be a real pain in the arse to deal with this via email. be ready to spend a bit of time on the phone with them, you'll probably need their level 2 support for this (unless they've finally identified the problem, but i fail to see how since it seems to be so sporadic).

Learned the commands in raw format and it now works,
The only problem is that it is not reacting as fast as the original remote but at least it is working.
Have changed timings and repeats but doesn't make any difference.

Try lowering the inter-device and inter-key delays.
