I tested new Harmony 1000 remote with an old ExpressVu receiver 4100. Everything worked fine, I even downloaded pictures for the favorite channels. Loved it! Then we moved our PVR 9200 downstairs to the basement theater and I have trouble downloading this device to Harmony 1000. Does someone have the same problem and maybe someone knows the solution? Please help!

You need to be more specific. How can you have trouble downloading a device to your Harmony remote? You either can or cannot add it to your account, and then you either can or cannot update your Harmony remote. ExpressVu is pretty common so the device should be in the Harmony database.
If you are having trouble controlling the 9200, maybe you need to change the remote address on the device (different remote addresses are used so you can have multiple receiver in the same room and still be able to control them independant of one another).

I managed to download 9200 to Harmony 1000, but it shows as an PVR with just 5 buttons: play, FF, stop, etc. That's it. No Guide, no channels, no access to PVR recordings. Remote control doesn't learn anything... Do I do something wrong?

Did you try customizing the buttons for the device and activity?

There is no option like that.

SSmirnoff, you can customize the ying-yang outta the Harmony. That is why we love it so. I strongly suggest using the search function in this forum. There are some here that will spoon-feed you, however the answers for your question are here already.

Pick another satellite receiver as your source. (The most popular that Expressvu sells)
I know that Dish builds those, so if they use the same IR frequencies, pick the model I mention below.
When I do a Harmony for a client using a Dish Receiver, I always use 'DISH DVR-942' as ALL Dish receivers use the same default code and the list of the commands for the old 942 has everything....including discreet Power On and Power off.
If you pick a newer model, it my have only a few commands and those not mapped where they should be.
