Ok I figured out my last thread. Thanks. My new question is setting uo the channel on My Panasonic TH42px60u. I have my vcr set to channel 3 but when it goes to channel 3 using the remote it says channel not available. I remember a while back i needed an adjustment for that. Anyone have any ideas?

'Channel not available' comes from which device : TV or VCR? More info is needed in order to help you.

I believe your TV is telling you these is nothing on its channel 3. Is your VCR On and set to a channel or valid A/V input? Is your VCR coax antenna output connected to your TV antenna input? If so, then why using this archaic method? Why not use an A/V connection instead?

For this Panny: Go to Set Up, Program channel, Manual, then add channel.

LOL. Actually all the cables were ran years ago behind drywall and I hung a plasma on the wall and I have only have so many cables. It would be very difficult to add that because of the finished basement.

Also make sure the TV tuner is set to NTSC (analog) instead of ATSC (digital).
