I just setup my 880 using defaults. I cant power on my XBox 360.

Any ideas?

Did the latest XBox 360 update break something?

mine still works after the update. Make sure your remote is pointing at the 360. Also, I have noticed that if it goes out of sync, I sometimes have to manually push the button the next time. For example, when I shut the 360 off and it doesn't actually shut off with the remote, the next time I find it won't power on with the remote either. So I power it down manually the first time, power it on manually the 2nd time and then it seems to be back in synch.

Can't guarantee it will work, but it has for me.

i use an MX-980 in my HT setup that has my 360 in it, but can confirm the 360 power command is a little sketchy. i often have to press power twice. my work around was to simply make a 360 power toggle on my main activity page so i can power on the 360 before even changing activites (this also allows the 360 to load up to the main screen before i switch inputs). i dont believe harmony's programming would allow for this work around, so i would suggest just having the xbox power toggle on the 1st page of your 360 activity pages.

all the best!

edit:sorry OP, are you saying the 360 will not respond AT ALL? if so then there may be a glitch in your software or unit itself. it might be worth a call to logitech, as they do have an excellent warranty process if your unit needs to be replaced.

the power commands for the xbox360 are somewhat sketchy in some configurations. in some situations, you need the power commands sent multiple times. when you adjust power settings, choose 'my device needs multiple power commands' and select PowerOn/PowerOff three times. you can also contact harmony support and they should be able to help you, hopefully.

Your 880 can turn the Xbox On and Off. In addition to setting up the Harmony, you need to make sure the Xbox option to see either the RF Controller OR the IR Remote.
