Hi all, I am trying to add a custom command when selecting an activity. When I hit watch tv activity the remote sends all the right commands but i need to add a change aspect on my monitor. when I turn everything off if will default to the wrong aspect, so when I turn back on I have to hit the aspect button on the tv to make things right. thanks Mike

Hi.
What problem are you having in adding that command?
Haven't you found the place to do it - review the Activity settings and keep going through the pages until you come to it?
It's probably just as good though to customise the Aspect command to a spare button.
Most people use the star or hash button for this purpose.

Thanks hhatkin, I was hoping to do it automatically like turning the amp on, receiver on, Tv on and hit aspect one time in watch tv activity. I dont see a way of adding that one function. thanks Mike

Mike,
In the software go to that activity:
-Settings
-Review the settings for this activity
-Yes, but I want to add more control of options...

Click thru a few screen until you get to:
-Please review the actions for your activity
-Add action for...

the rest should be self-explanatory. I know the Harmony software is a little nebulous having to drill down several layers to find useful options. It's worth exploring a bit to find out how robust it can be.
I'd also take up HHatkin's suggestion of adding the aspect button to that activity in case you want to change it manually later on.

OK - Good we got you there.
That particular option DOES take some hunting for!
