I got a harmony 1000 (used for 1 year), every thing is working god, but the battery should recharge every second day. Is't normal or the battery is not God? Can You help please. Sorry my bad english

There are some settings you can adjust on the remote to improve the battery life.
1) Touch the wrench icon on the LCD screen.
2) Press the Remote settings button.
3) Press the backlight button.
4) Lower both the Brightness setting and Timeout Duration.
This will improve the battery life.
