I think what syogusr might be referring to is the large
charging icon in the middle of the screen when the remote
is in the cradle. I saw exactly the same on my Harmony
One. When I got it first, and before I programmed it,
I put it in the charging cradle and every so often I pressed
a key on the remote to activate the screen and check the
charge status. I wanted to fully charge the remote before
first use. So when I was checking it I could see the green
charge bar going up (with a yellow "lighting strike" across
it) and after several hours the indicator changed and
showed full charge. This only happened before the remote
was programmed, after that it never showed full charge.
So it clearly must be something in the FW, and if that's
the case it could be fixed with the FW upgrade. I'm going
to contact Logitech to check if my way of thinking is
correct. I know that for some people it's a not an important
detail, but I would like to see if the remote is fully
charged without lifting it off the cradle.
That's exactly what I mean, and I am seeing. It may not matter at all, but for the price of the remote, I would like to know that all is well.
Please let me know if you contact Logitech, if not; I will.
I am not aware of a FW upgrade??
Thanks,
Steve
