I have a 670 with a Toshiba TV, Scientific Atlanta Cable box & Onkyo receiver. I have set up the remote to watch TV. This turns everything on & sets the system to non HD settings. I would like to program the remote to switch to an HD channel & change to TV input to colorstream 1 for HD. I setup a seperate activity for this & it worked but lost channel and volume control. Is there any easier way to do this with one button control. I would then like to program the remote to switch back to non HD channels & input also. Why was channel & volume control lost? Thanks for any help.

Go to Customise Buttons for the Activity and map the channel and volume buttons to the correct device.

This may seem like a silly question but why do you have your SD and HD channels on separate inputs?

That took care of it, thanks. Is there a way to program one button to do this under the Watch TV activity? Perhaps with the A button in the remote's screen? Thanks again.

When viewing SD channels using the HD input for the TV, the picture does not fill the entire screen, it is squeezed on the left & right.

OK jm - Good to hear that worked for you - you can't make the change without changing Activities but you'll soon get used to doing it that way!
