I would like to add a 2nd dvd player along with my PS3.. How do I do that when I add device? Also can't seem to find codes to turnoff Nad 542.. This is my first post to the forum, so far 0 problems with the 1000.. thanks in advance.

Not sure I understand - you can add any device any time you want, even multiple copies of the same device. You'd probably want 2 different activities - one for the dvd player and one for the PS3.

yes thats what I probably want, another activity but not sure about how it shows up on the display. How would the 1000 distinguish between the 2 dvd players? Just name each of them on the activity?

Two WatchDVD Activities will start off as WatchDVD1 and WatchDVD2 but as you can see on the first page of the Activities Settings you have the option to change the names to anything you like.
What is the other Device and isn't it in the datbase, or is it just the power command that's missing?

I set up an activity naming it "Watch a Blu ray", set up the 5 disc dvd player as "Watch dvd" ..I think I set it up ok, but the question that was puzzling was "What do you watch a dvd on?" technically you can watch a dvd on both.. Anyway I think I have it set up.. thanks agan..
