Hi everyone, sorry if this has been answered already. (could not find it)

I have trouble to get my Harmony One to go to AV7 on my Sony 46D3000. every other input works great. (discrete InputVideo5 for example) But not InputVideo7, according to Logitech Sony don't support discrete codes for that input. Why would they make discretecodes for every input but av7?

Does anyone know what to do?

Thanks in advance.

It's probably not so much that Sony don't support it as that the user or users who provided all the others to the database didn't know or couldn't work out that one.
The thing to do for an Activity that needs it is to set it to the next one below and include an InputNext as Additional Command When Activity Starts.

You can always setup your TV to go to Input 6 and then add an Input Next to the start up of your activity. You can also contact Harmony Support and have then combine an Input 6 and Input Next and create a new command this way the help button will work if your remote gets out of sync

What usually happens is Input7 was added to the TV and they didn't update the IR firmware to add the new discrete command. That happened a lot with the 2nd HDMI ports also.

The set for my Tosh was missing one input at first, but it wasn't long before someone found it and sent it up to Logi for inclusion.

Ok, so is this something that Logitech can fix? Or am I out of luck?

Thanks for the feedback!

If the discrete code for AV7 exists and you can find it, then support can add it for you. The trick is finding it. Try Sony, Philips Pronto websites, discrete hunter forum here on remote central, etc.
