I would like to run one of my wireless extender IR 'eyes' to my projector in the back of my room. All my other components are in different room, running off the wireless extender, which works beautifully. The projector is controlled through IR (from the remote) and it misses commands sometimes when the 890 isn't pointed right at it.

What kind of cable can I use for this? Can I use a stereo or mono headphone adapter? The connectors seem to look the same.

I would need about 50 ft of cable to get up & down inside the walls.
