This started a few months ago and is slowly getting worse. What happens is, say i turn on the TV, then later go to change a channel or something and the remote doesn't respond because it has changed back to the main activities screen like everything has been turned off. Really annoying.

A couple weeks ago, I removed all activites and re added them. It seemed to help for a couple days.

Any ideas? If this keeps up, the remote is useless as far as I'm concerned.

thanks

Are you sure you're not just pressing the activities button by accident? If not then it sounds like the firmware is screwed up or it's a hardware problem. Try redownloading the firmware first (I think that's different than just reloading the configuration).

Yes I am not pressing the activities button. I know how to upgrade the firmware but how do you redownload it? Won't the software see that it has the latest and not download?

thanks for your reply.

Click "Downloads" at the very top (next to "Troubleshoot"), then select Firmware. Note: The Firmware is model specific, but the Software is common to all models (amalgamated).
