I see lots of TV's having an issue with TV inputs - and my LG 42PC7RVH is no different :( I actually have two issues but I'm going to split them to make it easier.

Firstly, it doesn't have that *exact* model in the database - it uses the 42PC7RH which seems to be identical. In fact, it covers every button on the OEM remote plus many more. How here's the situation :

* I use the 'TV input' to actually watch TV through a normal TV aerial.

I'd like to the TV to turn on and then switch to 'TV input' when I choose to watch TV. When I initially set up the TV device, I select method 2 for inputs and get the options :

Channel '1'
Channel '3'
Channel '?'
AV 1 (have discrete code!)
AV 2 (have discrete code!)
Comp 1 (have discrete code!)
Comp 2 (have discrete code!)
RGB (have discrete code!)
HDMI 1 (toggles)
HDMI 2 (toggles)

The problem is I *don't* want any of the channels as options - I want 'TV' as an input and not the channels! Is there a way to delete the first 3 options and adding my own TV input?

Of course you can adjust the inputs for any device. Figure out which command you need to get to that input and then edit the input list.

In Customise Buttons this TV shows a long list of available commands including InputTV.
Include that in the list when you edit as akirby suggests.

... and then you can use the Activity Start macro feature to set the channel (Set it to this channel). Note: Activity Start/Exit macro feature becomes available when you review the activity and select "Yes, but I want to add more control of options and devices for this Activity". Just press next/save a few times until you reach the feature.

Thanks ... I'll try explore the software a little more. I think I worded the post wrong though :

When setting up the device (TV) I do 'adjust inputs' and select 'inputTV'.

Its when I am setting up 'watch TV' and get to the question 'which input does your TV need to be on?" that I get the list mentioned.

The reason it's listing the channels, it's because you did NOT select your TV when it asked which device do you use to change channels. You probably selected a cable/satellite box that you can connect to the TV Ant input using channel 3 or 4. Redo the activity by running the setup wizard again (under Activity > Settings).
