Is there any way to re-arrange devices on the remote or in the software? I noticed there is a button in the software to re-arrange activities, but not devices which is strange.

you can't re-arrange Devices, you can only re-arrange Activities. you should only be using Device mode for testing purposes

Devices are ordered automagically by the software based on the current activity. It tries to anticipate the devices you're most likely to need.
