I have a Sharp LCD (LC46D64u) and an 880. I am having a very strange problem. I have an activity that changes the input to Ant and then to channel 76. This should be very simple, but for some reason isn't. First there doesn't seem to be a discrete Ant input. This can be overcome by the fact that pressing "7" and "6" will put the TV into ANT source and on channel 76. So, I created a new input (for the TV in the members website), and told it to do nothing to change to that input. Then switch it to channel 76. However, it only switches to channel "7". I tried playing with some of the IR delays, but that didn't help.
I have also noticed that the remote seems to be missing part of the IR command. I had to have support manually put in the sleep command because neither the built in nor learned commands worked. It was like the TV got the command, but didn't get the signal that the command was complete, and so it waits. After a few seconds (meanwhile the remote has stopped issuing the command), it does the action. I tried another Sharp TV of the same generation and it works the same way.
Any ideas out there?

"to do nothing to change to that input" was the right idea.
What method do you then use to "switch it to channel 76"?

I just told it to switch to channel 76.

However, in testing this, I was able to replicate the problem more simply...

If I create a sequence "7" and "6" I see the same problem when I run that sequence. The TV will only see the "7".

I checked your Sharp LC-46D64U default input configuration. It's configured to use Method 2 (discrete method). The first input label name is "TV" (you can rename that to "Ant" if your want), and it's associated with the "Input7" command which is probably wrong. There is a command named "InputTv". You should test this command in device mode. If it works properly then select it, else select "-None-" (as you have already done).

I assume you are using the Activity Start macro "Set it to this channel" to sent the channel number (76). You also need to check the "How do you select channels with your original remote?" setup under:
o Client S/W interface: "Device > Settings > Re-do setup for this device (or Advanced setup...)".
o Website interface: "Device > More Options > Redo initial setup for this device (or Advanced setup...)".
It has 4 options, make sure you select the correct one:
1) Two numbers for channel 2, press '0' '2'.
2) Three numbers for channel 2, press '0' '0' '2'.
3) Number(s) and then enter (or select) for channel 2, press '2' 'Enter'
4) Number(s) only for channel 2, press '2'; for channel 9456, press '9' '4' '5' '6'.
Note: If you select the 3rd option, then it will also ask what command to use for the Enter/Select function.

You should also check the delays. The Activity Start macro "Set it to this channel" and the "Favorite Channel" will use the "Inter-key" delay which is set to 0 by default. Try increasing it to say 100 ms. I think the activity sequences use the Inter-Device delay which is set to 1000 ms (1 sec) by default. This sounds way too high. Try 100 ms.

How - by the option to "set it it to this channel"?

If so it might be better instead to include three separate commands as Additional When Activity Starts - "7", delay of xxxx ms, "6", trying different xxxx until it works properly.
