I have a Logitech Pure-Fi Elite iPod speakers with remote. My Harmony can do the next track button but when holding down the next track button the current track should fast forward as it does in my original remote. Instead the Harmony just skips to the next song. If I can get this working I would like to assign the fast forward function to the fast forward (Double arrows) on my harmony. When I hold down the next track button on the original remote so the harmony can learn the fast forward command I get a poor IR command error. When I shortened the button press the harmony accepts the command but it is still the next track and not fast forward.

Thank You
John

The fast forward (FF) command may already be available, but under a different name. Try all the commands in device mode. Else, you might have to learn the command in RAW mode, but you will have to be consistent with the timing since it will ask you to repeat it. It's too bad the original remote does not have a dedicated FF button. This would make learning it in normal mode a lot easier.

Note: Try learning it again but hide the initial IR burst (try this in normal mode first).

You could get Logi support to make a new ff command by adding a duration to the original one.

Or maybe ask support to change the existing command internal repeat flag from single to continuous action.
