I'm looking for the correct hookup for this system. I purchased a c 1024a converter to have the remote communicate with the Boses through a serial data port. Do I stick the sensor from the remote on anything? I'm trying to use this system inside a closed cabinet. Do I have to have the sensor from the c 1024a outside the cabinet?
Thanks for any help.

The sensor is IR (infrared). It must be mounted in a "line of sight" to see the IR light from your H890. IR light will go through mildly opaqued glass, but not through wood.
