Found 2 crystals inside my Harmony. Anyone know which one controls the backlight timeout, and the clock in some models ?
4.000 Mhz or 32.768 Khz.

Cheers

I have a 360, i have posted in another thread here about it. Mine doesn't have the ball bearing style sensor. Normally you only have to breath on it and it lights up. Unfortunately it's the turning off bit letting me down now.
The sensor in mine is a silver rectangular box on some legs that are soldered in to the PCB.

Apparently faulty crystals are a know cause and on models that have a clock, that stops when the glow no longer turns off itself. Totally understandable, with the crysal no longer giving it a clock pulse it can't count time.

Have the same timing case with a glow that doesn't turn off by itself.

Why not replacing these two crystal to see ??

Could you tell me where I can buy these kind of crystals ??

Thanks for your post.

Once I get some replacement crystals I'll advise of the outcome.

Cheers
