I have a Logitech 360 that's been working perfectly for yonks. Just this week it is no longer turning off the button glow automatically. It will only turn off using the Glow button. If it is bumped it glows as it should, be then fails to turn off.

I've reloaded the settings and even made a change to the glow timer but it's had no effect. As a side ntoe, during the reload it upgraded the firmware also.

What can I do to solve the glow issue ?

Thanks

Try the battery trick described in post #3 of this thread, else call support: [Link: remotecentral.com]

Thanks for the suggestion but no joy.
Tried another firmware reload, in safe mode, but still nothing.

Logitech said perhaps my motion sensor has an issue. Although if it's been sitting for a while it does turn the glow on if bumped which has me thinking it's purely a software time out issue. If the motion sensor was 'stuck on' it wouldn't be able to detect the movement that it does.

This also happens a lot with the 550. I've had three of them (two have been replaced under warranty for repeated button failures), and all of them have the glow light "stick" on until I hit another button.

Unfortunately pressing a key doesn't get the button glow to timeout.
Surely it's software related.

What about desoldering the motion sensor? I'm happy to lose it's function if it lets the glow timeout work.
Anyone tried that ?

Yay. Logitech have just advised that "As an exception we are sending a free replacement remote."
Mine is 18 months old therefore no warranty so this was a nice surprise.

Really, all others with the glow problem should get the same support!
