Hi everyone I just purchased a Harm 880 and did initial setup everything is working fine under the device function. My problem is that I have set up activities and none of them show up when I press the activities button the only icon that shows up is the system options. It is getting frustrating because the devives inividually work great but I bought the remote for the activities feature I have not called CS. Found this site and thought you guys could first Thanks joekel

Do the activities appear in the software? Did you do the download after you created the activities?

Please describe what happens when you set the software to upload your setup to the remote - how far the process develops and what messages, if any, you receive.

The software goes to the communicating with your remote and it stalls at 3% for quite a few minutes and then finishes update. I am then prompted to make sure the remote works as programed. Still no activities show up probably something silly I am not doing right Thanks for your help joekel

OK - that clarifies the situation and makes it look as if it is NOT something you're not doing right!
Just before you report it to CS could you let us know what Devices and Activities you have set up so far in the software?

Check the activities and make sure they've been verified - rerun the activity setup just to be safe. Also - what happens when you hit the activity button?

How would you do that check of verification?

From OP #1: "when I press the activities button the only icon that shows up is the system options" - but what are the "system options"?!

It should tell you the activity needs verification - usually happens after you change a device. At least that's what it used to do a long time ago - haven't created activities in a long time.

Yes, if you remove a device its activities indicate that their setup isn't complete.

Hi guys thanks for helping all I get under activities is system options, all that has is the remote assistant on/off, start slide show, set time and I'm done buttons. Here is the list of my equipment Mitsu ws-55413 (with net command off),motorola pvr dct-6412 which I want on all the time, and that never happens The remote assistant always tells me that it thinks all my devices are off. I want the pvr on!! I have a panasonic dvd recorder dmr-e60 and a sony str -db940 av receiver, after I update remote it goes right to remote assistant thats where it tells me everthing should be off, when I press the activity button I only get systems options no activities Getting to be a little annoying. Under devices everything works great. Thanks joekel

Did you try turning off the remote assistant? If that doesn't work you need to call support - they can check your setup while you're on the phone and fix it for you if necessary.

The device that is set to be on all the time will never get any power command from the Harmony.
Apart from that this is an unusual problem, and it IS time to refer it to support - sorry not to have been of help.
