Replaced a ($30) battery after a few years, but the replacement didn't hold a charge just like the old battery. I cleaned the contacts and everything else suggested on the troubleshooting sheets. Logitech surprised me by sending a complete new unit. Same thing happened. No charge, even overnight.
The battery store checked the voltage, capacity and the cradle. All were okay.
Any ideas would be appreciated. If it works, I have an extra Harmoiny One. Loved it when it worked.

How could you have a Harmony One that's a few years old? The One just came out a few months ago. Is it a different model?

When you say they sent a new unit - did that include the remote and cradle and battery? If a brand new one does the same thing - try a different outlet in a different room just to rule that out. The only other thing that's common to both old and new is the firmware, and someone else is having a similar battery problem so it's possible the firmware has a bug in it. Try redownloading the firmware - they just fixed another problem so there is a new version available.
