Has anyone set up their Harmony One to control an Apple TV unit? I have gotten through the online setup to the point where I can switch all my compnents, etc to show the Apple TV on the screen. I just can't get the Harmony One to control the Apple TV unit itself. Is this a common problem for controlling products that run with an Apple remote?

Any tips/siggestions -- both for setting up the Activity and for allowing the Harmony to control the Apple TV -- would be greatly appreciated.

Go into Device mode and try the commands. Also make sure the buttons in both device and activity mode have been mapped to Apple TV commands. If the apple supports both IR and RF make sure it's set to IR mode.

Another thing to check as well, is that your Apple TV may be paired with your Apple remote. If that is the case, then the harmony will not work. You would need to unpaid your remote first, before trying your harmony: [Link: support.apple.com]

I seem to have my Harmony operating my Apple TV properly except that I have to go to devices and hit "Pair" each time I want to use the Apple TV. Is there a way to avoid this, or should I just add the command to activating the Apple TV?

Thanks,
Ken

Either do the "Unpair" or include the Pair as Additional Command When Activity Starts.
