I currently have the 880 and would like to link a command to the master off button. I would like it to send an x10 command to turn off my bass shakers. Can the 880 do this? I could not figure it out or find info.

If not, can the One do this?

Thanks, Dave.

All Harmony remotes use the same database so if it can or cannot be done on one remote, it will be the same for all other Harmony remotes. Do you use an IR543 X10 receiver? If so is it added to your Activity. You can add additional commands when you start and leave an activity. Re-Run the Setup for that activity at the end select yes but I want to add more control, you will have to re-run the setup again , but ad the end you can add additional commands to either the start or the end of the activity. For the end of the Activity select your IR543 and add the additional commands to turn off your X10 module first command will be the Unit number of your module, and the next command will be the off command. Then update your remote

This is my pet peeve.
No wave to add a scene to the Off button.
It doesn't appear to be a technical restraint as the action can be completed with a few button presses.
A Z-wave device is not considered a Device and so it will not turn off with the Off button.
You also cannot map the Z-wave devices to any Key (soft or Hard) to make it easier to get the action done from your Activity screen.
I would like to see this issue looked at by Logitech.

If the x10 is a 'Device' then it is possible as rehaz1 stated.

Another option is to define a generic device and teach it the x10 on and off commands for the bass shakers (or use the IR543 if that works). Include that device in all activities. When you hit OFF it will send the off command. It will also turn it on the first time you select an activity from the OFF state.

The IR543 is the device. It actually does not have a power button it is always on. The only way it can be X10 module can be turned off is to do it the way I stated before and add the additional commands at the end of the activity to turn the X10 module off

Doesn't mean you can't define a generic device and teach it the command (or have support copy them from the IR543 command set).

Little different then the other options: I created an empty activity and added "all lights off" It's called "good night". When pushed all devices not in it (all) go off and so do all the lights. The 6 year old knows to push that instead of the off button.

It's a lot easier to train a 6 yr old than a wife......
