ack. my 880 is stuck on the "Listen to iPod" screen which i access thru the activities key. it appears that even the time is frozen...if the little numbers in the upper left corner are the time. the device is not responding to anything. not even when i put it back in the cradle. the screen stays lit, there is no "beep beep i'm attached" signal. it's just...frozen. i manually turned everything off because that was the only way to do so.

our system was set up by our tech savvy son who is a sound and light tech on a cruise ship far far away in the Mediterranean. we are marooned in upstate NY. he knows this system inside and out. but me..not so much. i am clueless.

can anyone out there give me a clue please? anyone? bueller?

thanks for responding! all this occurred last night. actually i just put it down and walked away from it....not on the cradle...cuz the frustration level was topping out. this morning when i looked at it the screen was blank. i put it back on the cradle and it showed a bar indicating it was loading or something... so again i just left it alone and came back several hours later. and voila! it had magically gotten itself back to where it's supposed to be. so all is well. it's working. it's charging. life is good. everybody lived happily ever after..well...at least for the next 24 hours...

best
