Not sure how to explain this but I'd like to add a step in just the powering up of my equipment. But I don't need this step when I'm in activity mode.

The reason is that I'm trying to avoid a input change whenever my receiver powers up. After it powers up its fine and I won't need this step.

What exactly is the problem you are having? Why does your receiver thinks it has to change inputs when it powers up? What is the make and model of your receiver?

Is it the harmony database power command(s) for your AVR that is/are also sending a input command (check it/them in device mode)? If so, then you have bad database command(s). Re-learn it/them from the OEM remote using RAW mode.
