Hello,

I have everything working with my Harmony 890 and my RX-V663 Yamaha receiver. However, the code that the harmony is sending to the yamaha for "power on" is an "all on" command. By this I mean that it turns main zone on as well as zone 2. I know the remote is doing it because when I turn the reciever on by hand it doesn't happen.

I don't want zone 2 to come on automatically. Any ideas?

Thanks,
Doug,.

Find the correct power on command in Device mode, then configure that command for the power on command under Adjust Power Settings.

I had the exact same problem with Harmony One.

Solution for me as to manually "learn" the IR from the original Yamaha remote for power ON. Then worked fine, Zone 2 no longer turns on.

I can't figure out how to get remote control to control SPEAKERS command to switch A, B, A+B. Can do it from panel, but I'd like it programmed in Harmony.

Any ideas?

Does your original remote have this ability? If not and you can only control it by using the buttons on the device, then probably not. You can check it out in Device mode for your receiver on your Harmony to see if any discrete commands exist for changing your speaker connections. If they do exist then you can map them to the LCD buttons on your remote for that activity
