I've read the other threads and the suggestions are mostly "take the batteries out" which i've tried 3 times, I've connected it via USB with both the batteries in AND out, and nothing.
It restarts, hit's the "welcome to your remote" screen and sticks there, nothing I can press that will fix that!

What happens when you click the "Update Remote" on your configuration page?

It goes through fine, then asks me to test the remote and it's still frozen.
I left the batteries out overnight and it's still frozen there :S
Any ideas ?

Remove the battery and re-install while holding the power button. Release it and then remove the battery again.

No luck, also tried updating the firmware and no luck
