I am in the market for new remote (bye bye Pronto RU950, which never passed the wife test!!)

The only difference I can see between the two are the following:
The 895 supports logitech's own RF protocols so you can move the hardware (amp, PVR etc) into a cupboard outside the main room and has Z-wave compatabilty.. all for an extra £90
The One has touch screen
Both support display of TV icons (the best thing about the pronto)

I'm not going with the Harmony 1000 as I don't want another full touch screen and its out of budget!

I will be using the remote with Rako for lighting control of 4 rooms (via RAKIR app) and a PixelMagic HD Mediabox (all other components - TV, Yammy Amp, Oppo DVD Topfield PVR are in the Logitech database)
Advice on which one to go with that will pass the wife and 4yr old test please!

I much prefer the buttons on the One compared to the 880/890/885/895 and the touch screen actually works far better and easier than I thought. It's also more intuitive (when you go into Device mode it gives you a touch button to return to the current activity rather than expecting you to know to press the Device button twice).

You can easily install an IR repeater to control equipment remotely with the advantage that it works with ANY IR remote including all of the OEM remotes.

I know only one remote that will pass the 4 yr old test.
The one that stays in the drawer!
