I made some "simple" changes to my A/V gear. So I went and changed the input settings for the new changes. The harmony software says that my settings are all correct but when I put them to use the tv doesn't go to the correct inputs. It seems to default back to Input 4 which is where I have my Comcast box.

When I hit help it doesn't help at all and even asks me if the input is correctly selected but it doesn't switch on the tv. I can use the original remote and it correctly go to the correct input.

Are you sure your simple changes have not resulted in your equipment taking control, e.g. auto switching to a SCART or HDMI input, like the Comcast?

todd1010, please specify the type of TV you have?
Some types of TV's will only go to an input if it senses that there is an 'input signal'.
What changes did you make?
Please help us help you with a more detailed explanation of your issue.
