I am using a Pronto at the moment, and use many custom IR codes - is it possible load these codes in to a Harmony product as easily as it is to cut and paste in to a Pronto device?

However, you can easily teach the IR commands. All Harmony models have an IR learning port (sensor).

You can also send the Pronto Hex codes to support and they can load them for you.

ditto, call their tech support (get to level 2) and tell them you have Pronto codes you would like set up. they will gladly help you.
