I know there was a problem with if you used a macro it got put at the end of the list. Has that been fixed? Are there any software issues with 7.4.3 and particular with macros now (other than only 5 commands)?

If you mean a sequence, yes you can put it anywhere you want on the LCD screen or on a hard button and it will stay there
