Are you referring to the A, B, C buttons on the left-hand side? Are they greyed-out? I had a similar problem a while back and had to redo my Watch TV set-up.

Erm, just how did you do this. I too have the colour buttons "greyed out" on the left side of my remote but can't seem to find ANY way to either activate or delete them? I have gone DEEP into the customize section but to no avail. All the other preset buttons (both hard and soft) seem to appear somewhere in the button customize section, but not the colour ones? Also, what/where is the "live TV" button that is in the customize button section. I cant find anything to press for this?

Cheers

In regards to the greyed buttons, I think you either have to re-create that activity from scratch, or you should contact customer support and they should be able to fix the issue.

I had this problem setting up my Sky HD satalite system. The buttons initially worked fine when I set up the activity. I made some changes and they stopped. I then set up the activity again and noticed the buttons returned. So I worked my way through the changes I made 1 by 1 checking the activity each time.

Took alot of updating the remote etc but I eventually discovered I could make any changes except setting up my favourite channels. Once I didn't do them the coloured buttons worked.

Usually, the reason that the colored buttons are "greyed-out" is because the activity wasn't properly set-up to take advantage of the devices funtionality. Example: I have a Scientific Atlanta Explorer 8300HD cable box. This device has built-in PVR. The A,B,C, Live TV buttons work only with the PVR function...those buttons are useless when just watching cable. When I first set-up my activity, I used the "Watch TV" set-up. Because the colored buttons are useless to this function, they appeared "greyed-out". To fix this...I redid the activity using the "Watch PVR" set-up. I renamed it "Watch TV". The colored buttons are now functional.

Sounds confusing, but is pretty easy. Hope this helps.

Hello,
Had email back form Logitech support, and for those of you that have Sky HD, and the 4 coloured buttons are 'greyed' out there is hope.

Re -do activity but make sure you set it up as "Replay TV" option, and not Watch Satelite as one would expect t do.

This worked fine for me, and hey presto. Coloured buttons are availabe again.

Hope this helps.
George
