I have a Panasonic PT-43LC14-K and when the 880 turns it on it simply goes to the previously used input!

The original remote only has one button (TvVideo) to toggle through the various inputs (4 components / 3 video / RGB / HDMI / Tuner)

In device mode there are commands for some of the inputs (only component 1 & 2; there are 4 video input commands despite only 3 on the TV; no RGB or HDMI commands). However none of them work!

There are several commands that do work at toggling through the various inputs (InputNext; NextInput; StartInput and TvVideo).

It seems to me that the 880 has no way of determining how to get to a specific input!

I tried playing around with the timing issues… but since the 880 cannot go to a specific input in device mode and, for testing purposes, I have no other devices set up; I do not believe that this is the issue…

Any ideas on how to deal with the issue?

If you have one button to toggle through them all then just set it up that way (Devices->TV->Adjust Inputs). When you select an activity it knows which input it needs to be on and figures out how to get there. You must make sure the list of inputs in the software matches the number and order of the inputs on the TV.
