I'm trying to program a Harmony 890. I was under the impression this was an RF remote, but is this only with the RF-IR converter in the middle? This stinks... I want to control my fireplace which is RF only, also I didn't get the converter when I bought it cause I didn't think I needed it. This obviously won't work if this remote can't output specific RF frequencies. Nice deceptive marketing, Logitech.

Where can I get a manual for this thing?

Are there remotes available that do REAL RF?

The 890 can control Z-wave (RF) Devices.

It's against FCC rules for one Mfg to use another Mfg RF frequency. The Z-Wave RF protocol is the only way around that.
