Hi,

Could anyone give me some information as to how I can teach my Harmony one all my remotes. Unfortunately hardly any of my devices feature in its database but I've heard there is a way to teach the remote to learn functions from other remotes. Can someone either give me a step by step guide or a link to go to please. Many thanks.

When you add a device and the Manufacturer is not listed, then select "-not listed-". It will ask you to enter the Manufacturer name and Model number. Then it will launch the device tutor and ask you to send a few commands from the OEM remote to see if it can find something similar. If it does not find anything, then just use the learning interface:
o For Client Software Interface: Device > Learn IR
o For Website Interface: Device > More Options > Learn infrared commands.

Okay thanks, another quick question. If I set a device this way can I still use it in activites and say if I wanted to set up my TV do I have to tell the software what inputs are on it?

In the software under Tip Center the button More Help links you to the Manual which includes Learning.
Also in the Tip Center is a link to Learn Command.
The 7:4:3 software should have come with your One, but if you don't have it you can download it from Logi's web site.
Any command you learn can be used in the same way as any other command.
However it is very unusual for devices not to be included in the database so you should contact Logi's support system and check the details with them.
When you come to set up the One, the first step is to set up each Device, and for TV inputs you will be asked to select from various options.

Yes, you have to configure the power and inputs for a new device. Actually this has to be done for all devices - it's just that the ones in the database come with a default setup that usually works - but not always.

They're not there - what else do you need to know? You'll have to add them.

There are offers of alternatives though - it would be at least worth trying them.
