Considering purchasing a Harmony One and had some questions:

I have a projector in which you need to push the power button twice to turn it off. Can I set this double-click feature up in the One when doing a total system shutdown? What about when toggling between activities . . . will it remember to double-click the off command then as well?

I currently have an URC MX-500 that does well with signal dispersion in that you don't have to really point the remote at the devices. Is the One as good at this also, or do you need to have a line of sight?

Will the One control a Lutron IR light dimmer switch?

Thanks

I control a Lutron Dimmer Switch with my One.

It works great; you can select a "favorite" level, and program the One to turn the lights on to that level at the beginning of any activity.

I also programmed the up and down buttons on my One to bright and dim so I can adjust the lights in any activity

Hello. This is awesome. Do you think it will control a remote control fan? Which I believe is RF, I think.
Thanks,
n

No, it won't control a RF fan, only IR.

I've found with my 880 and harmony One that the dispersion and/or IR strength is not as good as most of the stand alone remotes. I have not had great success with with it reliably working unless I had line of sight and pointed it at the device. YMMV of course depending on the room, reciever device, etc.

I have 2 880s and I can point either one at the ceiling and still control all of my equipment
