Greetings, I have a problem I can't seem to solve. Hopefully I am missing something stupid.

After I press "Watch TV", the hard buttons mostly control my comcast cable box and the volume of the receiver. This is how many people have it set up.

My TV has the capability to browse pictures and music.

I want to be able to select a custom button that takes me to the browse picture/music screen and then be able to use the 4-way to move around while I am on this screen. Problem is, the 4-way is already mapped to the comcast cable box, so once I browse my pictures/music, I am stuck.

Is there a way to click a custom button and then have the remote switch to a different device for the hard buttons and then when I am done, go back to the way it was. I don't want to have to setup an activity to do this, but I am thinking it is my only way.

Your suggestions are appreciated.

Just go to the TV device (Devices->Television) and the 4way should already be mapped. If not you can map them yourself. To get back to the activity you were in just press Devices twice. Of course this won't allow you to control any other devices. If you still want to control the A/V receiver volume or cable box at the same time then you'll have to setup a new activity. It's really easy - just make sure it uses the same devices as your Watch TV activity, then map the 4 way buttons to the TV instead of the cable box. In this case switching activities will have the effect of simply remapping the 4 way buttons (both ways). Power and inputs won't change.
