Just got my Harmony One yesterday and now have it all set up and working great. Only current (minor) issue I have is with favorites programmed for my DirecTV H20 STB. When it sends the channel #'s, no matter whether a single digit or three, I get an extra "boomp" sound from the DTV box indicating that I've sent an invalid or "extra" character. When manually typing in the channel # this doesn't happen. Still funtions properly, but slightly annoying and should be fixable. Anyone have any idea what might be causing this? TIA!

Check the setup for the HR20 and see if there is added a Enter command
Click on Device tab, select your HR20, select troubleshoot, click on shoh me more options, select, Changing channels using the number buttons on the remote doesn't work correctly click Next, Numbers only should be selected, Update your remote

Thanks Rehaz.. I got it taken care of, but I'm not sure how. I finally found the option for the added Enter command (man some of this stuff is buried and tricky to get to!) and it was set to "yes". I can't remember what I did next, but I was then prompted to point the DTV remote at the H1 and press Enter, which I did and it recognized, then I saved the changes, updated the remote, and voila, it works perfectly now.

The config software is definitely a bit cumbersome and I'd imagine a nightmare for the kind of people that vapor lock as soon as their PC has any sort of problem. Such is the price of configuring to control 1000's of devices, I suppose.
