I'm planning to get the 890 with RF extender for my husband; does it work at all with the PS3? I assume it can learn the controls for a device with a lost remote (Sirius radio)? Thanks!

Nope. You need to get a Nyko PS3 remote which includes a USB IR receiver that gets plugged into the PS3. Then you can add the Nyko remote to your harmony and control most everything except power - that is still bluetooth only.

The harmony has a database of commands so if your Sirius radio is already in the database then you have the commands available. So it doesn't really "learn" commands for a missing remote - it already has them.

Also Schmartz.com makes a Sony PS3 IR Upgrade with Power ON/OFF Control. See this thread: [Link: remotecentral.com]

I totally missed that thread and product, probably because I just bought my PS3 2 weeks ago. Now I have to check that out - thanks!
