Anyone else having this problem?

I think it's been happening since I first got the remote. At first, I figured I just was accidentally pressing "up" or in the middle of up and down - but now it's been almost a year and it still happens sometimes (about 15-20% of the time) and I'm sure I'm not pressing "up."

Could this be a problem with the harmony remote? Perhaps the Yamaha receiver which controls all volume for my system (although it never happened with it's remote)?

Thanks!

This sounds like a defective rocker switch. Try pressing it only near the tip.

thanks,
i've been purposely trying to press the tip, but it still seems to happen sometimes when I'm definitely hitting the down button.

I have noticed the same issue with mine. Had it about a month. Rarely happens so I too thought I was pushing it wrong, but I think it's the remote.
