I just set up my Harmony One yesterday, andf I don't have a very complex system, and only have 4 activities so far, but anyway, after setting it up, of course, I checked to see if the activities went as set up, and they seem to be fine, with the exception of my 'listen to cd's' activity. The first time I tried it, it turned on my TV, as well as my HD-DVD player(used for cd's) and my AV receiver. The activity is set up to turn on the Toshiba HD-A2 and the Denon AV receiver. The Samsung HLP5063 TV isn't even in the equation, so why would it turn it on? The weird part is I tried it again thinking it's just a fluke, and it worked exactly like it should, and didn't turn on the TV. Third try.....turned the Tv on as well. Tried it again this morning.....twice in a row........worked fine. Any thoughts? Should I return it, set the activity up again, see how it goes for a while???? Thanks in advance!

Not sure, but maybe the signals are very similar. I have a DVD player remote which is somehow able to turn on a digital picture frame I have.

Or the TV power settings is configured to use the discrete method but you gave it a toggle command. The Harmony remote will blindly send all discrete power and input commands to all devices configured and deemed discrete capable.

Yep, turns out that's what it was, and it was working fine, then stopped working fine for no reason, so if a call to tech support doesn't do it, I'm returning it.

You don't need support to fix that - you can fix it yourself by either redownloading the software or changing the power options.

You need to fix the device adjust power settings. The Harmony remote is not a mind reader. If you mislead it (discrete method needs discrete commands not toggles), it will take your word for it and will misbehave accordingly.

What's the current situation Acill - have you got the TV to be on all the time or not to be on all the time, and is the TV still switching on when you start a session with "watch cd"?

Right now it's set to be off when not in use. The deal with the tv coming on when going to listen to cd was because it was set as toggle power and the tv had been turned off with the original remote......something like that.....but took care of that issue.
