I have the Harmony 670 and just got a Pioneer DV-400V DVD player. With the DVD player's remote, when you press Display, the display comes up on screen. Push it a second time, and you get a screen that show more info about the DVD such as bitrate. Push it a third time, and the Display screen closes.

I programmed my Harmony 670 for the Pioneer DVD player. However, when I push Display on the Harmony, the Display screen comes up. But, when I push the Display button on the Harmony a second time, nothing happens. I can push it several times and the Display screen will never go to the Display screen with the more DVD info, nor will it close the Display screen.

I tried doing an IR learning for the display button on the Harmony, but it sill won't work properly.

Can anyone help me to get this to work? Thanks very much for your time, it is much appreciated.

Try leaning the command in RAW mode (select "custom" at the bottom of the learning page).

Jlet, thank you very much. I did the IR via Raw mode and it works now. The only thing is I have to hold the Display button down for a couple of seconds before it responds. When I did the learning, I tried to just press the button for an instant to hopefully get a short delay time. Do you know if there is any way to adjust the timings on the buttons?

It's also possible that the original "Display" command will work properly if you increase the "Number of Repeats". The "Number of Repeats" (now nameless) parameter is under Device > Troubleshoot > DVD responds to some commands either too many times or only occasionally. If you want to test the original "Display" command, you will have to re-learn it in regular mode (or delete the device to erase all learned command) unless you chose a different name when you learned it. You should also try all the commands in Device Mode. Maybe there are more than one "Display" command under different names.
